Biography
The “Flames of Love” was formed in April of 2000, after a revelation from our Loving God that we were to put together a singing group to further our ministry of praising our Lord and lifting His glorious name. The name, “Flames of Love”, was given to us by our Lord God and at the same time He gave us Psalms 105:1-5: “O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon His name; make known His deeds among the people. Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him; talk ye of all His wondrous works. Glory ye in His holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. Seek ye the Lord, and His strength: seek His face evermore. Remember His marvelous works that He hath done; His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth.”
We, the “Flames of Love”, dedicate ourselves to the truths of this scripture and endeavor to live these truths in our lives and our song. From our heart we entrust our lives to our Lord Jesus and strive to spread HIS Flaming Love throughout HIS Kingdom wherever HE will lead us. In these end times when so many have sold out to the enemy for personal fame and fortune we endeavor to live our lives as a “light” to the lost. and the saved that we can light or kindle a flaming flame in others; that we can, through the gifts that our Merciful Lord God has given us, bring Honor and Glory to HIS HOLY NAME. In humility we serve, for the Glory is HIS. Amen and Amen.
The “Flames of Love,” (a husband and wife duo) Charles and Maxine Branthoover, have been ministering God’s Holy Word through their music from the heart, from Savannah, GA to Pennsylvania. They have been featured on the gospel Music Round-Up TV show broadcast in 5 states from Vansant, VA; the “Crossing Paths” TV Show, the “Plus or Minus 60” show, aired worldwide on Sky Angel, the “Share” program and the “Woman to Woman” TV shows on the Family Life television network from Kittanning, PA; the Knoxville, Tennessee Fair, Pigeon Forge, TN; the “King of Kings” Radio stations in Somerset, KY; the “Gospel Rays SpringSing” in Laurelville, PA; as well as numerous churches in Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The “Flames of Love“ were directed by our Lord God in October 2002 to take our ministry north and then in the fall of 2007 we were led to the south yet again and we presently live at: 3956 Roseville Road, Glasgow, KY 42141
