AUTUMN AIR
But pause to see the autumn sun
reflect on leaf of gold;
To take a moment of your time
to see His glory bold.
But stop to smell the autumn air
so fresh and pure and clean;
To lift your senses from the earth
to soar on eagle’s wing.
But pray in silence to our Lord
Who placed these treasures here,
To fill our hearts with song and touch
each soul with love so dear.
But pause a moment if you will
to let Him know you care
To thank Him for this special time
of frost on autumn air.
